Good performance management requires a clear understanding of one’s job and a set of clearly defined performance expectations. A successful system also requires regular constructive conversation between the supervisor and employee as well as a sense of personal responsibility for career and professional development.How will you make sure that staff are evaluated fairly?
Our goal is to promote an appropriate level of consistency, with a clear process and tools for performance management. The new performance management system will enable staff to better understand how they are recognized and assessed, and will give staff consistent performance expectations, identified up front. HR will provide campus managers and supervisors with tools, training, and support on the performance management cycle.
